Testimonials
I have been fortunate to work with some amazing people, offering sessions online and in-person, via one-to-one sessions, with groups and organisations. Some of my clients have very kindly taken the time to leave me their testimonials, sharing their experiences of how Sophrology has made a positive impact on their lives.
I am very grateful to them and hope their words inspire you to find out more about Sophrology and how it could help you.

Clients Testimonials
Most importantly I look forward to our sessions together. The sessions always bring me some new learning, insight, and techniques to build upon.
I cannot recommend Carla and Sophrology enough."
Carla explained in the initial discussion how Sophrology could, and she believed would, help me get in the right frame of mind and enable me to jettison any negative feelings and anxieties concerning the two days. I had two sessions with Carla, the first was five days before the assessment centre and the second the evening before. Whilst difficult to describe I knew as soon as I woke the following day that I was ready and I had no doubts that I was going to do anything other than give it my best shot. The two days went exceptionally well and the feedback I obtained was very positive, to the extent I may be able to miss the next step on the partnership assessment and go straight to the final stage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sophrology and particularly The Stress Solution Sophrology to anyone who is concerned about overcoming and addressing challenges they face. The little voice we all have in our head can be your biggest foe or your biggest ally. I have no doubt that the time I spent with Carla ensured that for me, on those two days, it was the latter and not the former." - David was offered his partnership position and is still there now enjoying his role.
I felt very anxious about the interview and the thought of being interviewed by three senior directors filled me with fear, I was terrified of making a fool of myself in front of people I knew. Those close to me said my anxiety was normal, but I knew it would adversely impact on my performance so I needed some professional help and guidance as the interview was just days away. It was then that I came across Sophrology and I decided to try it, at the same time I was very sceptical. I crammed in three sessions before the interview and repeated the exercises as often as I could. The morning of the interview came and I fully expected the usual feelings of butterflies in my stomach, but they never came, instead I felt calm, composed and confident. I was sure it wouldn't last, how wrong I was. I was the first candidate to be seen at 8.30am and as I write this I still find it hard to believe how good it felt. I enjoyed the interview, yes I enjoyed it. The presentation flowed perfectly. One of the questions was particularly challenging and instead of trying to think of an answer quickly, I asked for a few moments, gave it some thought and then answered it. The hour just flew by and I was really pleased that the lovely authentic calm feeling remained. I no longer cared if I was appointed or not.
A week later I was told I was successful and I started my new post a week ago. I still attend Sophrology sessions with Carla as I realise it has so many benefits and has helped me so much. Outside of work it is lovely when those around me say 'you seem really content, you laugh more.' So try it. and you too will notice a subtle and wonderful difference in your life."

“You’ve heard of mindfulness, now meet its dynamic young cousin Sophrology. Mindfulness is the tried-and-tested tool of our times for anxiety, depression, chronic pain, addiction and more, but what if it’s not your thing? For those too twitchy to sit still and focus on breathing, Sophrology is the dynamic mindfulness alternative, popular on the continent. The French rugby team and media-magnate-turned-wellbeing-guru Arianna Huffington swear by this method”
"A form of moving meditation or “Dynamic Relaxation”. It’s so popular in France and Switzerland that it’s offered to children in schools and is even part of the training for the Geneva police force. Now it’s about to hit the UK."
“Sophrology - the calming wellbeing we all need now. A form of "Dynamic Meditation" Sophrology brings a sense of relief in the midst of the pandemic"
